Where is The Sulma Centre located?

We're located in Luwero District, Central Uganda, approximately 1.5 hours drive from Kampala via the Gulu Highway. Specific directions will be provided upon booking.

Sulma Centre provides comprehensive support to over 15 certified organic farmers through our demonstration farm training programs. We offer free technical training in organic farming methods, assist with CERES certification costs, provide quality seedlings and organic inputs, and guarantee market access through our export contracts. Our farmer partners receive fair prices and timely payments, creating sustainable livelihoods for rural communities in Uganda.

Our products meet international export standards through rigorous quality control at every stage. We implement strict harvest timing, proper post-harvest handling, cold chain management, and hygienic processing facilities. All products undergo quality inspection, grading, and packaging according to destination market requirements. Our CERES organic certification and registration with Uganda's Ministry of Agriculture ensure compliance with EU, Middle East, and East African import regulations.

Farmers interested in joining our network can contact us at info@sulmacentre.com. We look for committed farmers with at least 2 acres of land willing to transition to organic practices. We provide free training at our demonstration farm, assist with CERES certification applications, supply organic inputs, and offer guaranteed purchase contracts. The transition period typically takes 2-3 years, during which we provide continuous technical support and market linkages.
