The Sulma Centre is part of the Sulma Group, a Ugandan agribusiness enterprise established in 2001. While Sulma Centre Limited focuses on organic production, processing, smallholder farmer engagement, and exports, The Sulma Centre opens the farm to the public — transforming agriculture into tourism, education, wellness, and enterprise development.
Located in Luwero District, the Centre showcases sustainable organic farming practices and celebrates Uganda’s rich agricultural heritage, especially the renowned Luwero pineapple.

Founded in 2001 and incorporated on May 30, 2005, Sulma Centre Limited is a family-owned agribusiness enterprise based in Luweero District, Uganda. We specialize in the production and export of certified organic fresh and dried fruits, honey, and value-added horticultural products. Our 20-acre demonstration farm at Lwogi on the Kasana-Kikyusa Road serves as both a production facility and a training centre for smallholder farmers across the region.
Under the leadership of founder Abdulkarim Farid Karama, Sulma Centre has grown from a small local operation to a registered exporter serving international markets in the Middle East, Europe, and East Africa. We work directly with certified organic smallholder farmers and beekeeper groups, providing training, certification support, and guaranteed market access. Our commitment to organic agriculture, fair trade practices, and environmental sustainability has earned us CERES organic certification and recognition as a leader in Uganda's horticultural export sector.
